Geotechnical engineering is one of the most specialized disciplines in the ever changing world of engineering, technology and construction. Frost GeoSciences, Inc., provides a full range of consulting geotechnical engineering services. Each project begins with a review of the geologic and hydrologic setting of the site using published geology maps and aerial photography. A properly planned field exploration program is then developed so that suitable soil and rock samples may be obtained from the project site. Soil and rock samples are transported to our laboratory where they are evaluated and tested by trained, experienced professionals to determine their physical characteristics. These test results are evaluated by geotechnical engineers who develop practical geotechnical engineering solutions and recommendations that are presented in a written report to our clients.
